When I saw that Top 50 Farmers was looking for storytellers, I knew immediately I wanted to be part of it. It felt like a chance to bring different parts of my work together.
I've worked as a photographer for thirty years, and for the last few I've been directing that work toward regenerative farming and food production, not just visually but from the inside. I'm currently studying sustainable food systems part-time and doing an internship at Botildenborg in Malmö, a social enterprise working at the intersection of urban growing and community. I've spent time at Lindegrens, a regenerative livestock farm in Skåne, and I'm working on a cookbook rooted in the same values.
